An outdated tiled garden tub replaced with a low-threshold walk-in shower in marble-look acrylic, with grab bars and a fold-down seat.
Low-threshold entries and anchored grab bars are the foundation of how we design every shower. This one shows what that looks like when the finish is chosen to match the rest of the room rather than to stand apart from it.
The finish
Venatino is one of ten Bella Stone acrylic finishes we install, running from bright white through Calcutta Gold to the warmer limestone and sandstone tones. The panels are full height with no horizontal seam, so the veining reads as one piece of stone rather than a grid of tiles.
The hardware
- A sliding glass door on a matte black top rail, so nothing swings out into the room.
- Corner shelves moulded into the panels rather than bolted on afterwards.
- A fixed head and a handheld sprayer on a slide bar, both reachable from a seated position.
